Do You Regret Buying A Moissanite Ring?

Do You Regret Buying A Moissanite Ring?

This post contains affiliate links which means that I will receive a small commission if a purchase is made.

I have been looking into buying a Moissanite Ring for a while now.  Last week, I went to a national  Jewelry store chain, and I asked whether or not, they carried Moissanite and the salesperson said yes.

I was so anxious to see this stone and she showed me a three-carat solitaire and it was so big and beautiful.

I saw a lot of rainbows jumping out at me and she quoted me a price of three thousand dollars. I really like the sparkle of the ring but I did think that it was not the perfect alternative to a diamond for that price because it was a little too much color to be believable.

I put it on my finger and it made me feel so wonderful to have it on.

The salesperson was pushing me extra hard to finance this ring and I told her no, I would have to take my time to decide whether this ring was for me.

She then showed me one carat  Moissanite  and the size was more believable and she told me that this ring was one thousand dollars.

This Moissanite still had a lot of rainbow color flashes, and I would say that it is wise to accept this stone for what it is and do not try to pass it as a diamond because there is a profound difference.

Honestly, I think that I will still buy a Moissanite but I will not pay one thousand or three thousand dollars because I think that it is too much for this type of stone.

What the salesperson didn't know, I saw a one-carat Moissanite Solitaire Ring on eBay and it is being sold for $215.00.

I was looking around in this Jewelry store to see what Moissanite really looked like and I have come to the conclusion, I will eventually buy a Moissanite but I refuse to pay retail for it.

Anyone, looking to buy this stone for an engagement ring, please check with the person you are buying it to see if they would be okay wearing this type of stone.  I personally would not go over a carat stone because the bigger it is, screams "I am fake."

If you are a person who likes extreme bling, then this ring would be for you, but, please see it in person to make your final decision.  When I purchase my ring, I will show it to you all.

Charles And Colvard Moissanite Rings.

I have been researching Moissanite Rings for about three years.  I think that it is a viable alternative to a diamond ring.  You can get a beautiful, clear, stone that has beautiful rainbow colors.  Moissanite rings are a lot less than a high-quality diamond ring but they can still be pricey unless you buy the stone separately and have it set in the setting of your choice.

Watching YouTube video's can give you a lot of insight regarding this stone and you can learn the history because Moissanite was created by a meteorite.  Moissanite is not a diamond but it is a better quality stone for less money and that means that you can get a one or two carat stone that is much less than spending many thousands on a ring that almost cost as much as a car or down payment on a house.

These Moissanite reviews have convinced me that I definitely need this stone in my life.  Below are some good video's to watch and you can see the quality that I am talking about.

A Ring Is Just A Ring? (Get Ready For Christmas)

So, they say a ring is just a ring.  The holidays are coming up and you had a ring in mind but you don't have the funds to buy your dream ring.  You all know by now, that I am a ring addict and I am not ashamed of it, but sometimes, a hobby can be very expensive. I am also a person who will not wear my most treasured possessions in places that would put me at risk for damage or other unfortunate events.

I searched for inexpensive ways to feed my ring addiction and I found a site that has rings that are reasonable but I am interested in jewelry that doesn't tarnish or turn my fingers green.  I am a person who is allergic to many things so, as I started to look online, I was amazed at the jewelry that I saw and the rings were so pretty.

I want to tell you if, you are on a budget and you like to look glamorous, there are a lot of options now.  You may even be looking for an inexpensive engagement or wedding set but you know that you can only afford sterling silver or a ring from a chain store that is mediocre.  Well, the option that I found is stainless steel rings.  They are so comfortable, don't tarnish, hypoallergenic, and will not turn your finger green and they have some with colored stones, cubic zirconia, or plain bands.

This is a great option to look into and I found a wonderful site called https://www.buybluesteel.com/
You can get a beautiful ring and they also have rings in a yellow gold tone also.  Building your dream ring collection is now easy!

Could Your Rings Be Making You Sick?

Could Your Rings Be Making You Sick?

I have been a Jewelry lover for quite some time and I make sure that I clean my rings on a regular basis but some people take their Jewelry to the retail store where they purchased their rings to get them cleaned and then they don't adequately clean them at home.

If you think about it, there are many times that we have colds or flu and have no idea that the germs can transfer to our rings and help make us or others sick.  Throughout the day we wash our hands but a lot of people do not wash their Jewelry and this can be very dangerous because germs live and thrive on surfaces.

I feel that your rings should be wash throughout the day or at least 1 per day and you could achieve this by just using dish detergent and a soft bristled tooth brush.

Germs That Can Live On Your Rings Are:

E-coli
Noro-virus
Parasites
Salmonella
Fungi
Bacteria
Protozoa
