RINJU BODY AND HAND LOTION

RINJU BODY AND HAND LOTION

Rinju Body and Hand Lotion is a favorite of mines, so I decided to share it with you.  This lotion makes your skin feel so soft and as an added benefit; it has a rich, perfume smell that is so yummy. It repairs dry, chapped and weathered skin and I like to apply it after I have had a shower or a bath.

I purchased this lotion from my local Beauty Supply Store and I paid $3.99 for it.  You can wear this lotion instead of your perfume spray because the smell is really rich.  I love the fact that it is enriched with vitamin E.  If your Beauty Supply don't carry it; request that they order it for you.  This 16 ounce bottle will last you a long time.  They also sell a smaller version for $1.00.

EYEBROW SHAPER ( A GREAT MONEY SAVER)

                                     EYEBROW SHAPER

We all like to go to the Nail Shop and get our Eyebrows done and it is very inexpensive to do so, but sometimes we may want to skip the trip and take just a little time to do our brows ourselves and this little baby sure does the trick.

I usually go and get my brows done at the shop and then for about 5 months I maintain it by using the Eyebrow Shaper.  You can go to any Beauty Supply Store and find this shaper for about $1.00 and I have seen them at the Dollar store for 3 for $1.00.  The Shaper can last for about 2 months but I usually buy 1 every month and I just love the results I get from using them.

If you are not comfortable using it; just try taking a little hair off to shape the brow and with practice you will learn how to do it well and maintain those brows.  There are many youtube video's that show you how to use the shaper and some people skip the Nail Shop altogether and just use the Shaper.  I remove hair from my brows about 1 per week and  I save a lot of money by doing so.

SHOULD HE GIVE YOU AN ENGAGEMENT RING OR NOT?

SHOULD HE GIVE YOU AN ENGAGEMENT RING OR NOT?

This question is something that has been swirling in my head for some time now and even though this blog is all about saving money, I just have to speak my peace.  There are many Women who are getting engaged but they have no ring.

I don't know when all of this started but it is becoming the norm.  I feel that if a Man ask you for your hand in marriage, he should already have the ring and place it on your finger.  To some this may seem a little old fashioned but I see it as a very important step that is taken when preparing to spend your life together with someone.

Does the ring provide security that this Man is a good person or a good catch? No!.  What is does say is; "I want you to be my wife and I am showing you my token of appreciation and I am serious about taking this step".  Of course the Man could change his mind and ask for the ring back but it shows initiative on his part  and I don't think Nooooooo Woman should be engaged without a ring.  Our parents were engaged and received a ring in devastating financial times in America and nobody would have it any other way.  At that time; No Ring, No Wife!

Now ladies I want to say also; if a Man has a low paying job, don't expect him to put a $10.000 ring on your finger. There are many places that carry rings that are reasonable such as; Zales, Walmart.com, Sears.com. Macy's.com, Overstock.com and Kmart.com.  You can go to these stores in person except Overstock.com and look for a pretty ring that is reasonable.

Ladies, make him appreciate you and work for it because if you don't you will be left with a Man who is just looking for fun or someone to take care of them and you do not deserve this.

TWO OF MY SYNTHETIC WIG REVIEWS

NEW FALL FASHION FORECAST 2014

THESE FASHIONS ARE FORCASTED FOR THIS FALL

                                         WOULD  YOU WEAR THESE?

As we look forward to the colder months; these are the fashions that some of us will be wearing.
Since this Blog is about saving money; we can implement some of the fashions that we have from last year or either from the summer months and look through magazines to create some of these styles without putting a hole in our pockets.

Trendy clothes have their place, but they can go out of style almost as soon as they come in.  I can see some of these trends can be created also from thrifting.  I just recently saw some plaid skirts at the thrift store also some of these clothes can be altered to mimic these styles.

PROUCT REVIEW: EASYFEET SPA PEPPERMINT FOOT WASH

PRODUCT REVIEW: EASYFEET SPA PEPPERMINT FOOT WASH

I have Diabetes and I was looking for foot wash that would be easy on my feet and make them soft and was not irritating to my skin and I have found it!  I stumbled upon it at my local Dollar Store and I decided to try it and I am fully satisfied with the results.  It made my feet feel soft and when I was soaking it; it felt invigorating.

Please look at the foot wash in your Dollar Store because they may carry this same brand.  I just love the peppermint fragrance and I paid $1.19 for it and this product is comparable to a $10.00 foot wash.

CHURCH RUMMAGE SALES

CHURCH RUMMAGE SALES

I love this part of the year when the tree's start to change and the air is so crisp and fresh, but what I love the most is the Church Rummage Sales.  I find that the Fall brings a lot of Churches that conduct these sales and they carry a lot of clothing, dishes, electronics, and other household items.

You can get a nice amount of items for about $10 or $20 dollars and I am my happiest when they have the bag sales because you pay one price and you stuff that bag with as much stuff as you can get in there.  The only drawback is; most of these sales do not have dressing rooms, so you must bring a measuring tape, so you can buy your right size.

If you are not sure about sizing; then it is best to just stick with their household items.
